Smoothie of the Day: Healing Honey Peach Smoothie with Kefir

This is one of those smoothies that tastes more like a milkshake rather than a healthy drink! It’s a delicious way to load up on important vitamins and minerals. The peaches in this smoothie are good sources of  vitamins B3, beta-carotene, and folate.  Peaches also contain a good amount of calcium, iron, magnesium, potassium, and zinc. Honey acts as an energy-booster, immune-booster and can aid in preventing cancer. I add some fresh organic strawberries for a nice boost of fiber and potassium. Give this smoothie a try today!

Healing Honey Peach Smoothie with Kefir

  • 1 fresh peach
  • 1 C fresh organic strawberries
  • 1 Tbsp honey
  • 1 C plain or vanilla kefir

Add all ingredients to your blender and process until smooth. Pour into a tall glass and serve.
