Featured Green Smoothie of the Week: Just Peachy Spirulina Smoothie

Need a nice natural boost of energy?  This smoothie is loaded with important nutrients that help promote energy and immunity like beta-carotene, biotin, folic acid, vitamins B1, B3, B6, and C. It’s also a good source of calcium, protein, omega-3, and zinc. Peaches are an ideal fruit for detoxification as they contain compounds that help to cleanse the digestive system, kidneys, and bladder.  Pineapple has been shown to aid in digestion and help reduce the risk of blood clots. I love to add spirulina to this smoothie for a super-boost of nutrients including calcium, magnesium, vitamin A, and energizing B vitamins. Give this smoothie a try today!

Peachy Pineapple Smoothie

  • 2 peaches
  • 1 handful of fresh raspberries
  • 2 Tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 C plain coconut milk or rice milk
  • 1 C pineapple chunks
  • 1 C pineapple juice
  • 1 Tbsp Hawaiian Pacifica Spirulina 
Wash the peaches, berries and peel the banana.  Add all ingredients to a blender and process until smooth. Serve in a tall glass and enjoy!
