Juice Recipe of the Day: Carrot and Cabbage Juice

Do you like making your own creative juice concoctions? Have you ever juiced carrots with cabbage? Red and purple cabbage is a great source of a flavonoid called anthocyanins (this is what makes blueberries blue and red cabbage red). This flavonoid is a powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory. Three medium carrots contain 60 mg of calcium, 586 mg of potassium, a bit of magnesium, phosphorus, and vitamin C. Give this smoothie a whirl!

Carrot and Cabbage Juice

  • ice cubes
