Daily Nutrition Nibble: Don’t Forget to Eat Breakfast!

Your body gets most of it’s energy from the foods that you eat early in the day. That’s why it is so important that you never skip breakfast! Eat foods that provide your body with a natural lift of energy like oatmeal, yogurt, berries, bananas, and smoothies.  You can also get in the habit of juicing your own fruits and veggies. This is a fantastic way to get a lot of nutrients your body needs early in the day. Need an early morning-mid afternoon snack? Try some raw nuts  or veggies dipped in hummus. You can even add some chia seeds to your hummus for an added boost of protein. Be sure that you are drinking plenty of good quality water, especially first thing in the morning. This helps to flush the toxins out and gives you natural energy. Have a good morning!
