Recipe: Pomegranate Pear Arugula Salad

Pomegranate Pear Arugula Salad

This salad looks and tastes super fancy…but it is easy and affordable to make! Best of all? It’s packed with nutrients like fiber, iron, and vitamins A, C, and K. Simply add your favorite salad dressing (I love to use Bragg’s Ginger and Sesame Salad Dressing on this) and you are good to go! Give this recipe a try the next time you are in the mood for a delicious salad.

Pomegranate Pear Arugula Salad (serves about two people)

  • 2 cups fresh arugula, thoroughly washed
  • 1 pear, sliced into thin pieces
  • 1/2 cup pomegranate seeds
  • 1/3 cup chopped walnuts

Add all ingredients to a large bowl and toss well. Drizzle your favorite salad dressing on top and toss again.

 

 

Recipe: Ginger Turmeric Carrot Juice

Ginger Turmeric Carrot Juice

This is a simple and delicious recipe for an anti-inflammatory juice. Not only is is bursting with color and flavor, it is packed with nutrients to promote healthy vision, strong immunity, clear skin, and good digestion. You will need to make this recipe with a juicer. If you don’t have one, you can use a blender and add 1 cup of your favorite liquid base. I recommend coconut milk. Enjoy!

  • 3 or 4 organic carrots
  • 1 red organic apple
  • 1/2 in piece of organic ginger root
  • 1/2 in piece of organic turmeric root
  • 1/4 organic lemon, peel and all!
