Nutrition Webisode: The Kuvings Silent Juicer and why I’m Loving it!

Hi guys! As you know, I am so excited to have partnered with another wonderful company, Kuvings! Kuvings has been around since 1978 and they make quality small kitchen appliances, like the Kuvings Silent Juicer. If you are one of the many people that have been emailing me and asking what juicer  I recommend, this is it! I am obsessed with my silent juicer and I have started using it multiple times a day (my favorite thing to make is ginger and apple juice, yum!) In this nutrition webisode, I share with you the reason I love the Kuvings Silent Juicer and why you should consider purchasing one for yourself. Enjoy!

Many of you know what a huge fan I am of making juice every day (that’s why I post so many juice recipes for you here on my website). I make a variety of delicious concoctions using everything from leafy green vegetables to fresh ginger. Well, I am excited to tell you that I have come up with some fun ways to use your juice and pulp, other than just drinking it out of a glass or incorporating it into a smoothie. Take a look at my latest webisode, featuring the Kuving’s Silent Juicer. You’re going to love it!

Juice of the Day: Raspberry, Pear, Cucumber Juice

Full of nutrients like folic acid, biotin, beta-carotene, and calcium, this simple juice is delicious and nutritious. Cucumbers are a great source of vitamin C and a phytonutrient called caffeic acid, which prevents water retention. Raspberries have been shown to have anti-cancer properties, especially when it comes to cancers of the mouth, throat, and colon. The pears are a good source of vitamin K which is important for helping prevent oxidative damage to our cells. Give this juice a try today!

Raspberry, Pear, and Cucumber Juice

  • 2 C fresh raspberries
  • 2 pears of your choice
  • 1/2 cucumber

Add all ingredients to your juicer machine and process until smooth. Pour into a tall glass and serve. Enjoy!
