“Every day, tell at least one person something you like, admire, or appreciate about them.” – Richard Carlson
People are like stained-glass windows. They sparkle and shine when the sun is out, but when the darkness sets in, their true beauty is revealed only if there is light from within. – Elisabeth Kübler-Ross
Remember when mama use to tell us to “chew the food before swallowing?’ Well, it turns out she was right! Chewing our food at least 20-30 times before swallowing helps us digest what we are eating. The physical process of chewing (and creating saliva) helps to break down our food, allowing us to digest and absorb nutrients much easier. Our stomach doesn’t have teeth (obviously) and it relies on gastric juices to help us break down food. Let’s help our tummy out by chewing thoroughly the next time we eat!
One who fears failure limits his activities. Failure is only the opportunity to more intelligently begin again.
– Henry Ford
“Remember there’s no such thing as a small act of kindness. Every act creates a ripple with no logical end.” – Scott Adams
We learn wisdom from failure much more than success. We often discover what we will do, by finding out what we will not do. – Samuel Smiles
